Medical Weight Loss.
A Nurse Practitioner–led GLP-1 program. Not a subscription. Not a shortcut. Clinical intake, dose titration, monitoring, and an exit plan.
GLP-1 done properly.
GLP-1 receptor agonist medications — semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) — have changed what medical weight management looks like. They work. But the medication is the easy part. The protocol is what determines whether the result lasts.
At Juvenescence, the program is structured around clinical intake, individualized starting dose, careful titration, monitoring for side effects and lean mass changes, integration with hormone optimization where appropriate, and exit planning. This is medical care — not the volume-driven online-prescription model.
The program, in sequence.
The first visit is clinical intake — health history, prior weight management attempts, current medications, bloodwork. Suitability is determined based on BMI, comorbidities, and goals. Not every patient is a candidate; that conversation happens at the first appointment.
Once initiated, GLP-1 is started at the lowest dose and titrated upward over weeks based on response and tolerance. Initial follow-up at two weeks; monthly check-ins through titration; bloodwork repeated quarterly. Nutrition guidance and muscle preservation strategy are built into the protocol.
When goal weight is achieved, exit planning begins — tapering, maintenance dosing where appropriate, and the lifestyle integration that determines whether the result holds.
Where it fits.
The program is appropriate for:
- Patients with a clinical BMI threshold and motivation to integrate lifestyle change alongside medication.
- Patients whose previous weight loss attempts plateaued or rebounded despite consistent effort.
- Patients with metabolic syndrome, prediabetes, or insulin resistance markers.
- Patients pursuing hormone optimization who want integrated metabolic care.
- Patients who want medical monitoring rather than an online prescription with no follow-up.
The program is not appropriate for patients seeking cosmetic weight loss outside clinical criteria, those with contraindications identified at intake, or those unwilling to integrate lifestyle change alongside the medication.

Begin with intake.
Every medical weight loss program at Juvenescence begins with clinical intake. We'll establish whether a GLP-1 protocol is appropriate before any prescription is written.
