Two tools, one strategy.

Microneedling uses a medical-grade device to create controlled microchannels in the skin. The result is new collagen and elastin production, improved texture, softened fine lines, reduced post-acne scarring, and better penetration of medical-grade serums or PRP applied during treatment.

Chemical peels use medical-grade acid formulations to accelerate cellular turnover, address pigmentation, even tone, and refine surface texture. Peel depth is selected for your skin type and how much downtime you can tolerate.

The two often work better together than alone — sequenced thoughtfully, they address surface and depth in the same treatment plan.

This is medical, not spa. NP-led microneedling uses a higher-grade device, deeper penetration where appropriate, sterile technique, and the option to combine with PRP or prescription serums — none of which is available with home rollers or non-medical settings.

The session.

Sessions begin with a skin assessment and clinical cleanse. Topical numbing is applied where appropriate and given time to take effect. Microneedling itself takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on areas being treated; chemical peels vary from 15 to 45 minutes.

Where indicated, PRP is drawn at the start of the appointment, processed during numbing, and applied directly to the freshly opened skin during microneedling for maximum penetration.

Post-treatment redness and sensitivity typically resolve within 24 to 72 hours for microneedling, with chemical peels varying by depth. A protective post-care regimen is provided.

Microneedling vs chemical peel — which is right for me?

Chemical peels are exfoliating chemical treatments that address tone, pigmentation, and superficial concerns more directly. Many patients benefit from both, sequenced thoughtfully. Is there downtime?
Microneedling typically causes 24 to 48 hours of redness similar to a moderate sunburn, with sensitivity and minor flaking over 2 to 3 days. Chemical peels vary by depth — superficial peels have minimal downtime, while medium peels can cause visible peeling over 5 to 7 days. The protocol selected for you accounts for your downtime tolerance.
Can I combine microneedling with PRP?
Yes — and it's one of the most effective combinations. PRP is drawn from your own blood and applied directly to the freshly opened skin during microneedling, delivering growth factors deep into the dermis where they can compound the collagen response. This combination is sometimes referred to as the "vampire facial."
How many treatments will I need?
A series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart is typical for sustained results, with maintenance every 3 to 6 months thereafter. Individual response varies based on starting skin condition, age, and concerns being addressed. The plan is established at consultation and adjusted based on response.
